When Nicolas started his training as a rider with Olympic champion and riding master Klaus Balkenhol, Quater Back Junior FRH also arrived there in 2014 - directly from Spain. The chestnut had spent his youth in Southern Europe after his former owner Michelle Widner had bought him as a foal in Verden.

In the beginning, his eagerness to work was almost unstoppable, but he already showed his enormous potential and so the new dream team started their joint sporting career in 2015 with a victory in a medium (M) level dressage horse test. The following year, first placings in the advanced class followed, including tenth place at the World Championships for seven-year-old dressage horses. In 2018, he succeeded in jumping into the Grand Prix. Since then, the pair has already achieved numerous valuable international victories, including in Achleiten/AUT, Mariakalnok/HUN, Budapest/HUN, Le Mans/FRA and Lier/BEL, and in 2019 they were part of Team Luxembourg at the European Championships in Rotterdam/NED. In 2020, Quater Back Junior was able to secure one of the very few individual starting places for the Olympic Games in Tokyo/JPN. He also took part in the European Championships in Hagen/GER.

Quater Back Junior, which we only call "Juni" in our stable, was accepted into the illustrious sports promotion squad of the Hanoverian Association in 2020 in recognition of his great career. As a sign he bears the abbreviation FRH.

The sire Quaterback was riding horse Bundeschampion and himself successful in sport up to Intermediate I. Over 70 of his sons were licensed, and in sport, besides Quater Back Junior FRH, among others also DSP Pathétique/Dorothee Schneider/GER and DSP Quantaz/Isabell Werth/GER reached the highest class. The elite stallion Quaterback has been among the top five of the world's best dressage sires according to the WBFSH ranking since 2019.

The dam Bonita bred the mare Starlight to Stedinger, who in turn became the dam of the licensed stallion Falstaff (by Ampere).

In the pedigree follow the stallions Bonheur, Westbury and Adlerflügel.

The granddam produced the Grand Prix horse Di-Day (by Donnerschlag).
